AMD announced its mobile microprocessor roadmap. Code named "Griffin", the CPU and the accompanied RS780 chipset will be launched in 2008. Specifically targeting the mobile computing market, AMD calls them the "Puma" platform, aiming to compete with Intel's "Centrino" platform.
Taking advantage of AMD's merger with ATI, the RS780 chipset will integrate the ATI R600 grahpics core, which is significantly faster than Intel's X3100 embeded graphics solution.
AMD aims to completely integrate the graphics chip and CPU into a single silicon by 2009. The CPU is code named "Fusion", it is potentially both faster and more energy efficient than Intel's upcoming integrated offerings based on the Power VR technology.

We have completed the upgrade to our FTP server. Primary objective of this upgrade exercise is to provide better integration with Windows Explorer. User who use this service should find the ftp connection more reliable, while easier to establish.
To use Windows Explorer instead of Internet Explorer for ftp, click "Start", select "Run...", then type in "explorer ftp://servername" where servername is the name of the ftp server you want to connect.

Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 has a flaw in its printing function
where page break are not handled correctly. We have updated all
our web-based applications to resolve this compatibility issue,
but as IE7 default to automatic page scaling, users will need to
ensure that printing is set at "100%", not "Shrink-to-fit",
during printing.
Users relying heavily on format printing from Internet Explorer
are advised to stay with version 5.5 and 6.0.
