IBM
announced that
it will be withdrawing OS/2 from the market on 12 March 2003, and will continue
to support OS/2 until 31 December 2004.
Our experience with OS/2 started
with OS/2 2.1 in 1993, even though it was a superior operating system to Microsoft
Windows 3.1, we eventually stopped using it due to lack of device drivers. Many
people today don't even know what OS/2 is, so this new development (or lack of)
should have no impact.

We have observed
that there has been some problems with TMNet's dial-up connection since Nov 20.
It intermittently disconnects user from the network, or does not route user's
traffic at all. The problem seems to have been resolved as of November 24th.

We
have observed that there has been some problems with TMNet's dial-up connection
since October 31st. We suspect it's due to their equipment upgrade, resulting
in some of their network traffic being routed incorrectly. The problem seems to
have been resolved as of today.
